When you use multiple option in product groups (like Color, Size, Shape) - by default every option shows up in collection swatches. To give you more control, you can now hide individual options from collection swatches while keeping them on the product page.
You’ll find it in Settings > Product Groups > Collection display. The setting applies to every group that uses the option.
