Add products to a sale

Once a sale is active, its product list is locked. There are two ways to bring new products in.

  1. Disable the sale. Original prices are restored.
  2. Open the sale’s Details and click Duplicate.
  3. Update the product selection and create the sale.

This also applies when the sale targets a collection or the whole store: by default, products added to your store after the sale started don’t get the discount until you restart it - or use tracking below.

Track condition changes automatically (Premium)

Section titled “Track condition changes automatically (Premium)”

On the Premium plan, the sale form’s Advanced card has two options that keep a running sale in sync:

  • Track changes in condition automatically (every hour) - the app rechecks the sale’s conditions every hour. New matching products (like new arrivals in the selected collection) are added to the sale, and products that stop matching are excluded.
  • Automatically re-apply price changes (every hour) - the app re-applies the sale prices every hour. Besides covering newly tracked products, this stops third-party apps from overriding prices mid-sale. Works for sales with up to 10,000 price changes.

Enable both and a long-running collection sale stays complete without restarts: add a product to the collection, and it gets the sale price and restores with everything else when the sale ends.
